We believe that the church should have a positive impact on the community.  We also believe that the church should be reaching out into the community.  Herein, lies the purpose of Focal Point Outreach:  To expand the reach of the church beyond the property of the church and into the community.  There are two way in which we do this:

  1.  We host 4 community events and year that focus on making a positve impact to our neighbors.    

      -Easter Egg hunt

      -2 Family Fun Days

      -Christmas Dinner

 

  2.  We visit the community door to door.  Are we crazy?  Just a bit.  But our twist on the old method is

       that we are seeking to create a Focal Point in each neighborhood.  The stategy is to make a home

       visit with those who already attend our church and to visit the neighbors of our church folks

       (taking our church folk along) in order to build neighborhood relationships and to make that the

       home of those already attending our church the Focal Point for spiritual needs of that

       neighborhood.
